Amir Hamzah Abd Rahman
Innovative design is about sustaining the community, the environment and the resources around.
With a passion for art and architecture, Amir has spearheaded several of firm’s key projects as its lead designer. Trained at the University of Texas, he worked as an artist and designer in a Dallas architectural and engineering consultancy before joining HIJJAS in 1991.
Combining innate artistic ability and an eye for iconic design, Amir has worked an array of notable projects and masterplans including Malaysia’s first National Energy Centre building, Kompleks Tabung Haji Sepang and Mövenpick Hotel & Convention Centre KLIA, Al-Faisal University Riyadh, Putrajaya International Convention Centre and TTDI Sentralis Shah Alam.
